PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment, which not only detect the base station nearest to a mobile communication terminal whose porition is to be detected, but also minutely detect the position of the terminal in the area of the base station. SOLUTION: A center equipment 2, radio base station equipment 3 and a position measuring instrument 1 which are connected to each other via the center equipment 2, and mobile communication terminals 4, which are connected to each other through the base station equipment 3, are provided and the center device 2 corresponds audio or data with the terminals 4 through the base station equipment 3 and electronic mail with the position measuring instrument 1 via a LAN 8. The center equipment 2 is provided with a means which transmits and receives character information to and from the terminals 4 via the base station equipment 3 and each terminal 4 is provided with a means which measures the intensities of radio waves from a plurality of radio base station devices 3, 6, and 7. |
