The invention concerns a system comprising a plurality of interactive terminals (1), each including interface means such as a screen (3) and/or keyboard for searching and selecting documents such as musical scores, and a printer (4) for editing the selected documents (11). The terminals (1) are connected, through a network (5, 6, 8), to a server (9) remotely located and containing in a database (10) a set of available documents. Said system is particularly designed for editing and selling on request, in dispensing outlets, complete or partial musical scores.
