The undergarment (1) is made from a resilient knitwear material in the form of high-waist pants with an elastic waistband (2). Below the waistband it has a strip (3) of padding with an adjustable belt (4) covering the pelvis and a rear extension over the coccyx and sacrum. Other pads (10,11) covering the buttocks and hips are inserted into pockets made from the same elastic material as the garment. The pads are made from a foam material that can be molded at a temperature below 100 deg C to the contours of the wearer's body.
