<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a failure under severe weather and operating conditions and to extend the service life of an electric lamp by forming some major components of an auxiliary light containing a casing lens and an inner light reflector with a durable plastic material. SOLUTION: An auxiliary light 10 is provided with a casing 12 made of a plastic material, a casing door 14, a lens 16 and a composite reflector 18. The lens 16 is made of a shock-resistant plastic, and its periphery is formed to be overlappingly coupled with a flange 26 extending around the front section of a casing opening section 24. The lens 16 is permanently sealed to the flange 26 by silicone cement. The reflector 18 is fitted in the casing 12, and it is formed to guide light to the front of the casing 12 from a headlight bulb 30 and to guide light to the front and right from a parking/turning signal bulb 32. The reflector 18 is formed to provide a headlight chamber 34 and a parking/turning signal chamber 36.</p> |
