PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a D/A converter circuit of small area. SOLUTION: In this D/A converter circuit, a gradation voltage line is selected from among 4 gradation voltage lines, in response to a digital signal received from address lines 201 of an address decoder. A circuit consisting of series connection of a circuit, comprising two N-channel TFTs and a circuit comprising two P-channel TFTs is connected in parallel with each gradation voltage line. The arrangement of the circuit comprising two N-channel TFT and the circuit comprising two P-channel TFT is set reversed for each gradation voltage line. Thus, the number of crossings in the wires in the D/A converter is reduced, and the area is decreased.
