PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store luminescent circuits in a housing and to prevent infiltration of moisture by extrusion molding the housing made of a protective thermoplastic material around a long strip continuously formed with multiple luminescent circuits. SOLUTION: A continuously and linearly formed LED light strip 10 has LED electric circuits 12. The electric circuits 12 are stored in a housing 13 made of a thermoplastic material which is a wholly integral unit and having no space inside it. The thermoplastic material housing 13 is formed with a polymer material having low moisture permeability such as an ionomer resin, high-density polyethylene, polychloro-trifluoroethylene, polyester or polyvinyl chloride. The thermoplastic material is extruded around the electric circuits 12, and no space is formed in the LED light strip 10. The extrusion molded thermoplastic material housing 13 protects the LED circuits 12 from the damage by a large load or the infiltration of moisture. |
