PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup and an optical disk device capable of preventing the generation of a short-circuit between plural connection terminals including a power supply terminal at the time of connecting a flexible printed circuit board. SOLUTION: The connecting flexible printed circuit board drawn out from the base part of the optical pickup has plural conductive parts extended in parallel with each other in a longitudinal direction and a light source connection terminal LD and a power supply connection terminal VCC out of plural connection terminals formed on the end parts of these conductive parts are arranged adjacently to each other on the base part side. The base part of the optical pickup is provided with a jumper part 28 for crossing at least two conductive parts 26b, 26d in an end face opposed to the printed circuit board in an electrically insulated state and the printed circuit board is provided with a conductive part 26c connected to another signal line between two connection terminals in an area ahead of the jumper part 28. |
