<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to use a portable electronic instrument(EI) in a standing state by executing key entry by moving only fingers while holding an EI body by the palms of both hands. SOLUTION: The EI is constituted of an EI body 1 including a display part, a 1st key group arrayed on an optional position excluding the display part on the surface of the EI body 1 and allowed to be operated by right and left thumbs when the EI body 1 is held by the palms of both the hands and a 2nd key group 35 arrayed on the rear face of the EI body 1 and allowed to be operated by fingers excluding the thumbs. The 1st key group consists of a space key, numerical keys, shift keys, and function keys and the 2nd key group 35 consists of alphanumeric/KANA (square form of Japanese syllabary) keys as data keys.</p> |
