PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for mixing the images generated by a computer by making a second bit depth smaller than a first bit depth, increasing the second bit depth of a second picture cell map, and mixing first and second picture cell maps. SOLUTION: A processor is provided with an interpreter 50, a non-image data marking processor 51, an image marking processor 52, a half-tone engine 54, a half-tone removing engine 56 and a mixing processor 58. A first graphic object is received, and this object is rendered to generate a first picture cell map having a first bit depth. The second bit depth of a second picture cell map related to a second graphic object to be mixed with the first graphic object is increased, the second bit depth is made smaller than the first bit depth, and the first and second picture cell maps are mixed. |
