PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pick-up device capable of adjusting an offset of a focus error signal. SOLUTION: This device comprises a light source 1, an optical path conversion means 27 for converting an advancing path of incident light, an objective lens 15 focusing the incident light so that a light spot is formed on a recording surface of a disk 19, and a photo-detector 28 consisting of at least two light- receiving areas which receive the light reflected from the disk 19 via the optical path conversion means 27 and the objective lens 15 and photo-electrically convert the light independently. Here, these light-receiving areas are arranged to be separated with a specified spacing in-between so that the center part of the incident light is not received. |
