PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video server system where missing of a frame at a server side and a sneak path of data in a video I/F are eliminated. SOLUTION: A video server system, where a plurality of resources are stored in a disk array (RAID) 6, and a specific resource is selectively read and served on request, is provided with an MPEG 2 type encoder 4 that receives a video signal based on at least a 1st transfer system and encodes the received video signal, and with a video server 1 that receives the video signal from the encoder 4 based on a 2nd transfer system different from the 1st transfer system and writes the video signal on the disk array (RAID) 6. The video server 1 includes an FIFO that tentatively stores the video signal from the encoder 4 to absorb a difference between the 1st transfer system and the 2nd transfer system. |
