PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal equipment capable of keeping its vertical standing attitude while keeping the merit of thinning the portable terminal equipment (portable telephone set). SOLUTION: The main body case 11 of the portable telephone set 10 is provided with an almost rectangular parallelpiped shape difficult to stand vertically and a planar flipper 12 (outer side face 12c or the like) for covering a key group (operation key) 17 arrayed on the front surface 11a of the main body case 11 is turnably supported to the main body case 11. The flipper 12 is constituted so as to turn for about 270 deg.C from a first position for covering the key group 17 and reach a second position and is abutted to the bottom surface 11b on the side of the back surface 11c of the main body case 11 at the second position. Thus, the bottom area of the portable telephone set 10 is practically enlarged and the portable telephone set 10 becomes capable of vertically standing. |
