PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comprehensibly perform temperature corrections of the optical system with good performance while lowering the cost by providing a focus lens made of plastic and a specific temperature correcting component and constituting the optical system by combining them. SOLUTION: In this optical system 10 consisting of a laser diode 12 and a condenser lens 16, the condenser lens 16 and laser diode 12 are built generally in an optical device fitting base or barrel 25 to form a visible laser diode module(VLDM). The focus of the system 10 varies with temperature. For the purpose, a temperature correction optical system is added which has a plate TCP 20 for temperature correction arranged in front of the condenser lens 16. The TCP 20 is an individual optical component arranged on the downstream side of the condenser lens 16. The temperature correction system can be composed of one or more TCP components and preferably consists of a single component like a diffraction optical component plate.
