PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct precise temperature control irrespective of a temperature characteristic of a wire harness. SOLUTION: An A/F sensor 30 is arranged in an exhaust pipe 13 of an engine 10. The A/F sensor 30 is provided with a sensor element part 32 for detecting an oxygen concentration in exhaust gas, and a heater 33 for heating the element part 32, and is connected to an ECU 15 via wire harnesses H1, H2. A CPU 20 inside the ECU 15 measures a resistance value of the heater 33 or the sensor element part 32 based on voltage and current values detected via the wire harnesses H1, H2, and estimates resistance values of the wire harnesses H1, H2. The CPU 20 corrects the measured resistance value of the heater 33 or the element part 32 based on the estimated harness resistance values, and a duty amount for the heater 33 is controlled based on the corrected resistance value of the heater 33 or the element part 32. |
