PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liq. agent for contact lens capable of remarkably reducing a change of the base curve of the contact lens during preservation and distribution preservation and having excellent antiseptic and antibacterial effects and the durability of these effects by incorporating a polymer having specified repeating units and/or a salt of the polymer. SOLUTION: This liq. agent contains a polymer (polymer A) having repeating units (a) (allylamine units) represented by formula I and repeating units (b) (substd. allylamine units) represented by formula II and/or the salt of the polymer A. The molar ratio between the allylamine units (a) and the substd. allylamine units (b) in the polymer is >=25/75, preferably >=30/70. Form the viewpoint to produce more excellent antiseptic and antibacterial effects, the molar ratio is regulated to <=99/1, preferably <= 90/10. The wt. average mol.wt. of the polymer A or the salt is about >=1,000, preferably about >=2,000. |
