PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink storage unit for a printer for simply and sufficiently cleaning a side face of an ink key. SOLUTION: The ink storage unit for a printer comprises a plurality of ink keys 1' for constituting a bottom of an ink fountain 100'. In this case, the keys 1' are rotatably provided at a rotary fulcrum shaft 9 to receive an operation of a spring force in a predetermined rotating direction via a spring force transmission member 12. The member 12 is locked to the key 1' to operate its spring force to the key 1' or unlocked from the locking state to the key 1' to release the spring force operating at the key 1'. |
