PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an acrylic elastomer composition further improved in compression set characteristic. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by compounding a carboxyl a carboxyl group-containing acrylic elastomer with a mercaptobenzimidazole. As for a vulcanization system for the composition, there is used a combination of a vulcanizing agent - a vulcanization accelerator, viz., a combination of either (l) a multifunctional isocyanate compound - a quaternary osmium salt, ternary amine or ternary phosphine, or (2) a diamine compound - a guanidine, 1,8-diazabicyclo[5,4,0]undecene-7,1,5-diazabicyclo[4,3,0]nonene-5 or the salt thereof. |
