PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition desirable as an adhesive used for DVD and to be cured by a flash irradiation system by using a photopolymerization initiator consisting essentially of 1-hydroxycyclohexyl phenyl ketone. SOLUTION: There is provided an ultraviolet-curable composition which is used in sticking two discs at least either of which has an information recording layer by a flash irradiation system. 1-Hydroxycyclohexyl phenyl ketone is used in an amount of, usually, 0.1-10 pts. mass per 100 pts. mass composition and may be used in conjunction with at least one member selected among photopolymerization initiators having a wavelength at which the molar extinction coefficient is 50 (l/mol.cm) or above and which falls within the region of 370-350 nm. Among them, 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyldiphenylphosphine oxide is desirable. The polymerizable monomer component used is a monofunctional or polyfunctional (meth)acrylate. |
