EXHAUST GAS TREATING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable prolonged stable operation by avoiding a hourly pressure loss of an exhaust gas in a heat exchanger for recovering heat to delay the stop timing of the operation attributed to an increase in the pressure loss. SOLUTION: This treating system is provided with a heat exchanger 4 to recover heat from an exhaust gas along an exhaust duct 10 of the exhaust gas and an exhaust gas desulfurizer 5 which causes a contact between the exhaust gas and on absorbing liquid containing an alkali component to absorb and remove sulfur oxide contained in the exhaust gas. In this case, a bypass line 12 is provided having a flow resistance means 11 of the exhaust gas interposed between an inlet and an outlet of the heat exchanger 4 of the exhaust gas duct 10.
