PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct certain ignition of a combustion type heater even while an internal combustion engine is in operation and establish good combusting performance. SOLUTION: A combustion type heater 17 is equipped with a combustion chamber to conduct combustion, an air supply passage 33 to supply an air for combustion to the chamber, a heating plug to fire the fuel inside the chamber, and a combusted gas exhaust passage 35 to exhaust the combusted gas discharged from combustion in the chamber, and is arranged so that the temp. of an engine cooling water is raised by operating in a cold condition, wherein at least the exhaust passage 35, eventually the air supply passage 33 also, is/are connected to the suction pipe 23 of the engine, and the configuration further includes an air suction fan to adjust the air amount supplied from the passage 33 to the combustion chamber and an ECU 46 to control the operating condition of the fan in accordance with the engine speed. |
