<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated hose that presents sufficient mechanical strength, excellent chemical and heat resistance, improved flexibility, and an enhanced electrically insulating property at its terminals, and provide a manufacturing method of such the insulated hose. SOLUTION: An insulated hose 1 comprises a hose body 2, a reinforcing armor blade 3, a metal nipple 4 and a metal socket 5, and includes a body- exposed part formed for insulation. The insulating body-exposed part is formed by the method in which the end of the armor blade 3 on the hose body 2 inserted into the cylindrical part of the metal nipple 4 is shifted away from that end of the hose body 2 and then the hose body 2 and armor blade 3 are crimped down and fixed onto the metal nipple 4 from outside the metal socket 5.</p> |
