PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect adhesion of the deposit on the basis of a change of the idle open degree of a throttle valve and a change of the air-fuel ratio by detecting a change of the idle open degree of the throttle valve to an opening side and a change of the air-fuel ratio to a rich side. SOLUTION: During the idling operation of an air conditioner, whether the adhesion quantity DEPO computed by subtracting the initial idle open degree from the real idle open degree is larger than the value obtained by adding the predetermined valueαto the former detected deposit correction open degree FDPOn-1 or not is judged (S43). Change of the throttle open degree at the time of idling operation is considered on the basis of this judgment. Continuously, whether an A/F feedback correction coefficient FAF, to which the feedback learning value KG is added, is smaller than the predetermined valueβor not is judged (S44). In the case where the deposit is adhered, intake air quantity is reduced and the air-fuel ratio is lowered. In the case where the correction coefficient FAF corrected so as to raise the air-fuel ratio is lower than the predetermined valueβ, lowering of the air-fuel ratio due to the adhesion of the deposit is judged. |
