PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control method and device of a steering wing that can fully utilize a region for obtaining improved steering, can avoid a region where the steering becomes inferior, prevents controllability from deteriorating, and further can miniaturize a steering device. SOLUTION: A steering control method consists of an effective steering detection process for obtaining the maximum effective steering angleδemax for achieving effective steering for a speed Vm and an elevationαof a flying object that is subjected to flying control, a steering distribution process for distributing the maximum effective steering into the maximum pitch steeringδzmax and the maximum steeringδxmax corresponding to the speed and elevation, respectively, by assuming the speed and elevation of the flying object, and a steering process for controlling flying by a steering operation based on an inputted steering instruction with a steering being obtained by synthesizing the maximum pitch steering and the maximum roll steering as the maximum value.
