PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a seamless elastomeric product having a plurality of characteristics by a method wherein a mold, the shape of which is coincident with the interior of a product and which is heated, is successively dipped in heated solutions, which are respectively made of elastomers having a first material characteristics and a second material characteristics, so as to set up the solutions in order to cure resultant layers after geletinization and form a permanent chemical bond in the interface between both layers. SOLUTION: A heated mold 30 having the shape coincident with a product is dipped with a holding rod 31 in a tank 34 having a specified elastic elastomer solution 36 therein so as to coat the gel of the elastomer solution by the predetermined thickness on the outer surface of the mold 30. Some part of the resultant elastomer layer is cured on the heated mold and/or in an oven 32. The mold 30 is dipped in a second solution 37 so as to partially cure the first and the second coatings in the oven 32 in order to form a permanent chemical bond in the interface between both the layers. Further, the mold 30 is more dipped in other elastomer compound 39 and the elastomer layer is left in the oven 32 until the elastomer layer fully cures and then it left on the mold 30 until being cooled down to a room temperature. No seam, with which separately formed parts are bonded, is necessary and a product having a plurality of characteristics such as a durometer hardness or the like can be obtained. |
