A retaining assembly fastened to a wall to permit storage of a wheelbarrow or comparable wheeled article such as a wheelbarrow in a vertical orientation. The assembly includes a fixed support and a moveable catch which is moveable relative to the fixed support. The wheeled article is tilted about its wheel and it is then supported with its handles toward the wall . A rear lip of the article engages a spring biased catch associated with the retaining assembly and deflects the catch upward. The catch then lodges behind the rear lip to secure the article against the wall. Also disclosed is a lower assembly for engaging a front portion of the article so as to secure both lower and upper ends against the walls.
