PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polyester composite material formed product having good formability and resilience in combination and further excellent softness and thickness feeling. SOLUTION: Polyester fibers assume a layer linelike scattering image of a small-angle X-ray scattering image and have <=15 nm value of J determined by the formula J=λ/2sin[ tan<-1> (r/R)}/2] (R is a camera radius; λ is the wavelength of X-rays; J is the long period) according to the distance (r) from the meridian or the equator to the center of the scattering image on a photograph, 1.350-1.395 density and 2.0-4.0 nm crystal size for (010) index of the plane, 2.0-4.0 nm crystal size for (100) index of the plane and 1.5-4.2 nm crystal size for (1 bar 05 hereinafter described as 105) index of the plane, 65-80% degree of crystal orientation of (010) index of the plane obtained by the wide-angle X-ray scattering diffractometric measurement and 0.150-0.350 degree of amorphous orientation according to a polarized fluorescent method. |
