PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively fix material such as physiological active material to the surface of a chip to be measured. SOLUTION: The device includes liquid holders 41, 42 capable of holding a solution S containing material to be fixed in the condition of being swollen upward by surface tension and a chip-to-be-measured holder 45 capable of holding a chip A to be measured with the surface positioned downward. The chip-to- be-measured holder 4 is put near to the solution S held at the end of the liquid holder 42 to adhere the solution S to the chip A to be measured.
