PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a push-pull control cable capable of maintaining quality sensitivity and operability for a long period and enabling maintenance free. SOLUTION: This push-pull control cable 1 has a conduit 2 having a liner 21 composed of a resin pipe, and a wire 3 covered by a side wire 33 obtained by helically winding many steal wire 32 having small diameters around the outer periphery of a core wire 31 at a prescribed pitch to form one layer. The wire 3 is inserted in the liner 21 so as to be freely slidable, and the steal wire 32 has a zinc plated layer of 5-20μm thickness.
