PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly control a quantity of light beams, etc. at all times by controlling output timings of a beam-lighting command signal and a light quantity control command signal constant when a frequency of an image clock is varied thereby changing a magnification in a main scan direction of images. SOLUTION: Drum-shaped photosensitive bodies 14C, 14M, 14Y and 14BK corresponding to cyan, magenta, yellow and black colors respectively are arranged in a longitudinal direction of a transfer belt 12, and light scan devices 16C, 16M, 16Y and 16BK for irradiating light beams are set for the corresponding photosensitive bodies 14, whereby an image-forming apparatus 10 is constituted. When images are to be formed, an output timing of each of a lighting command signal and a light quantity control command signal is controlled on the basis of a frequency of an image clock or a correction value preliminarily set corresponding to an image signal. Even when a magnification in a main scan direction of images is changed, the output timings of the lighting command signal and light quantity control command signal can be maintained constant at all times. |
