PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable adsorbing and removing a lot of odorous components or the like and moreover, to keep such adsorbing and removing action for a long period of time by the regenerating treatment of the adsorption function. SOLUTION: This deodorizing machine is equipped with a panel structural body 20 formed into a panel containing an adsorbent for adsorbing odorous components and a catalyst for decomposing the odorous components, and a heating means for heating the panel structural body, and is constituted so that an air flow A is caused to flow through the panel structural body 20 in the thickness direction thereof and also if necessary, the panel structural body 20 is heated by the heating means. With this constitution, the air flow A flows through the panel structural body 20 from the whole area in the planar direction thereof and contact area between the air flow A and the adsorbent is enlarged, thereby increasing the quantity of the odorous components or the like adsorbed and removed by the adsorbent to improve deodorizing capacity thereby. |
