<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load control device for a vehicle to reduce the generation of noise during duty control of a load. SOLUTION: This control device comprises a circuit to connect two loads to a power source through switching device 5 and 9, a circuit to connect the load in series and connect to the power source through the switching device 7, 13, and a control means 15 to perform ON and OFF control of switching devices 5, 9, and 7. The control means 15 comprises a first mode to perform duty control of switching devices 5 and 9 so that an ON-period is not overlapped; and a second mode to perform duty control of switching devices 7 and 13. The ON-periods of the first and second modes are alternately repeated. Each time when the repeat is effected, by alternately changing the switching device 5 and 9 brought into an ON-state in the first mode, a load current is increased and decreased in three stages, and by decreasing the change width of a current, the generation of noise is decreased.</p> |
