摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cabitation erosion, enhance the fuel injection characteristics, simplify the structure, reduce the number of component parts, and suppress the costs. SOLUTION: A pressure governing mechanism equipped with a check valve 21 and a pressure governing valve 23 arranges two springs 54 and 61 which urge the valve element 51 of the pressure governing valve 23 in the valve closing direction. At the time of back flow, a lift of the valve 23 is restricted by the spring 54 so as to lessen the area of the fuel passage, and at the time of spill involving steep rise of pressure, the valve 23 compresses the two springs 54 and 61 so as to enlarge the area of the fuel passage, and thereby the pressures in barrel ports 7 and a gallery chamber 8 are adjusted.
