摘要 The air treatment system comprises a combination of a suction system (9) with an air treatment unit (13) and an air curtain (8) formed by it in the opening (6) into a chamber (1) to give at least a partial insulation of the chamber interior. The suction system has a fan (9) with at least one upstream air suction feed channel (11), to be blown into a funnel-shaped section (10) to form an air curtain (8) at least as wide as the chamber opening (6) and directed to the base of the opening. The air suction feed channel has an entry at one end within the chamber (1), and contains a unit (13) to eliminate volatile molecules in the suction air flow. Soiled air is moved through the air treatment unit, to be directed by the funnel into an air curtain (8) after cleaning. The system can have a second suction air feed channel, to draw in air from the atmosphere outside the chamber, also with the air treatment unit within it. The side members of the chamber opening are structured to act as a guide for the air curtain, using longitudinal grooves at their facing surfaces inwards to the opening. The assembly to form the air curtain is at the top of the air guides at the chamber opening. The air treatment unit has an absorbent material, a catalyst or an absorbent liquid within the air suction feed channel (11). Alternatively, it is an oxidation chamber. An Independent claim is included for the operation of the air treatment system, with an air curtain which is generated to shroud the opening of a chamber, and at least partially insulate the interior of the chamber. The air drawn into the suction system is treated and forms at least part of the air curtain. Preferred Features: The suction system can also draw in ambient air from outside the chamber, and two fractions are used to form the air curtain. The air treatment uses the interactions of a gas/liquid and/or gas/solid.
