The wind shield for the beach has a square or rectangular panel (1) formed of rigid, semi-rigid or flexible material. The screen has support feet (3) and a border to allow fixing in the soil. Arcuate cut outs are formed in it to provide sound and visual shielding. The screen can be supported by an array of stakes.
