PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the preservability of images by containing a compound shown by a specific formula, higher fatty acid metallic double salt having specific carbon atoms, and a multivalent hydroxy aromatic compound shown by a specific formula in the thermal recording layer. SOLUTION: The thermal recording body includes at least one kind of a compound expressed by formula I as an organic developing agent, 16-35C higher fatty acid metallic salt as an electron receptor, and a multivalent hydroxy aromatic group expressed by formula II as an electron donator. In the formula I, R1 -R4 can be the same or different, and show a hydrogen atom, a C1 -C4 alkyl group, a halogen atom, and further R1 and R2 or R3 and R4 can be combined with each other for formation of an aromatic ring. X, Y can be the same or different respectively, and express a hydrogen atom or a sulfur atom, and further Z shows a bivalent organic residue moiety. In the formula II, R shows any of an alkyl group of C18 -C35 . In the formula III, R1 shows an alkyl group of C18 -C35 . (n) shows integers of 2 or 3, and -X- shows any of formula IV (in the formula, R' shows an alkyl group of C18 -C35 ). |
