PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure reliability over a long time by preventing the nozzle part of an ink jet recorder from being clogged. SOLUTION: In a method for recording by loading an ink jet recorder having a capped nozzle part with ink containing a coloring agent being dispersed or dissolved into water, a wetting agent and a surfactant, the cap is made of a member exhibiting moisture permeability of 5×10<-7> g/mm<2> /hour or less at 20 deg.C, 60% R.H and employing an ink exhibiting viscosity of 5 mPa.s or less at 30 deg.C in 40% moisture evaporation. |
