PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable economic melting treatment of combustibles and noncombustibles without requiring a large exhaust gas system. SOLUTION: A furnace body 1 is separated into an upper fixed cover 1 and a lower melting tank 2, and the lower melting tank 2 is allowed to tilt when molten slag is poured. Space between the upper fixed cover and the lower melting tank 2 is connected by heat resistant bellows 16 capable of maintaining gas tightness. Waste containing combustibles is allowed to burn by feeding oxygen-rich air from an oxygen-rich air feeding inlet 6 and melted inside the furnace by utilizing generated high temperature heat. Noncombustibles are allowed to melt by an oxygen burner 8 fueled with waste oil, waste activated carbon, or waste plastic.
|
