摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the use efficiency of an ATM(asynchronous transfer mode) line and to improve transfer speed through the use of the idle bands of plural lines. SOLUTION: Information is arbitrarily transferred to an input information source by using the idle bands of plural ATM routes. A reception station 7-side transmits idle band information of the respective routes to the respective routes by back notice cells so as to inform them. Then, received random routing cells are reproduced in order from the cell which exists from the beginning in the input information source from an incoming order. In a transmission station 2-side, the back notice cells are received from the respective routes and the input information source cells are divided by the individual routes from the idle band information of the respective routes so as to transmit them. In repeating stations 9-12, the back notice cells and the random routing cells are repeated. Thus, the input information source transferring information to the reception station-side on the transmission station 2-side uses the idle bands of the plural ATM routes, divides them, can transfer the random routing cells and can transmit them without being restricted by the idle band on one route. Thus, transfer speed and transmission efficiency can by improved.</p>
