<p>PURPOSE:To move smoothly in a lateral direction at a place a cover fitted on a distribution line stretched between poles, particularly a distribution line supported by suspension wires of a wire cable through cable hangers at a place. CONSTITUTION:In a distribution line protective cover having a half split cylindrical shape as a whole by forming a fitting pipe part of required length, peripherally provided with a goose-necked protrusion 3 in the point end, in one end in the lengthwise direction of a long main unit pipe formed and by providing a joint pipe part 5, fitted with the fitting pipe part, in the other end in the lengthwise direction of the main unit pipe, the fitting pipe part is formed in a diameter larger than the main unit pipe, also to form a connection part internal peripheral surface, of the main unit pipe to the fitting pipe part, into a tapered surface 4. Further, the internal diameter of a fitting part 5a of the joint pipe part 5 agrees with the external diameter of the fitting pipe part, and a large diametric pipe part 6, formed with an internal peripheral surface into a tapered surface 4' to stop the goose-necked protrusion 3, is formed in the depth end of the fitting part 5a, also to form a rear end side angular part of the large diametric pipe part 6 into a tapered pipe shepe 8.</p> |
