Typically two or more metal-framed electrical equipment cabinets (10,10') are formed into a flush-fronted suite by fixing together the vertical frame members (11,11') at adjoining corners. Into holes (25,25') drilled at corresponding locations in the respective members the close-fitting ends of the guide-tubes (16,16') are inserted up to a stop provided by a shoulder on each tube, associated with a larger diameter section directed towards the other member. The end of one tube (16) forms a conical male surface (17), which fits into a conical recess (17') in the other, ensuring that the bores (20,20') of both tubes are coaxially aligned. After approximate lining up, a bolt is passed through both bores and its nut tightened to complete the assembly.
