PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the control of an airflow regulating device from a place below the machine without employing any stepladder or the like, in an air conditioner installed on a ceiling and whose airflow direction is changed by regulating the guide angle of an airflow control plate manually. SOLUTION: An air conditioner is installed on a ceiling and is equipped with a unit main body receiving a fan and a heat exchanger, and a decorative panel 4 provided on the unit main body and equipped with an airflow control plate 3 on an air outlet port for sending out air into a room. In such an air conditioner, a changing mechanism for changing the guide angle of the airflow control plate 3 in the decorative panel 4 is provided while the decorative panel 4 is constituted so that a through hole 13 is formed on the same, and a control rod is inserted through the through hole 13 to connect the same to the changing mechanism and change the guide angle of the airflow control plate 3 by the operation of the control rod.
