PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact secondary balancer device of an engine by fitting a damper rubber to a weight cup to stabilize rotation of the weight cup and further fitting both sides of the weight cup to a balancer gear shaft to prevent twisting of the balancer gear shaft due to rolling of the weight cup, thereby preventing generation of gear noise. SOLUTION: Damper rubber 12 is fitted to plural dogs 11 in a bowl part 10 of a weight cup 9 to mount the damper rubber 12 in the bowl part 10, and plural dogs on the outside of one side flange 3 of a balancer gear shaft 2 are fitted to the damper rubber to fit a shaft hole of the weight cup to the balancer gear shaft. The inner edge of the bowl part of the weight cup is fitted to a circular stepped part provided along the vicinity of the outer periphery of the flange of the balancer gear shaft.
