A support device (1) for a keyboard (2) for attaining an ergonomically advantageous working position for an operator of the keyboard. The support device (1) comprises a means (4) for holding the keyboard in such an inclined position that its back edge, which faces the operator, is located at a higher level than its front edge, and a member (9) for supporting the hands/wrists of the operator. The support member (9) is arranged in such a manner at the back edge of the keyboard that a surface of the support member intended for being in contact with the hands/wrists is positioned at a higher level than the keys of the keyboard when the keyboard is arranged in said inclined position. The support device comprises also mean (7) for holding a back edge (5) of the keyboard at a distance in the vertical direction from a support surface for the keyboard and said distance holding means is intended to rest on the support surface. |
