The regulator consists of a tapering wedge (1) fitted between the two barrels (C, C1) of the gun and capable of lengthwise adjustment by a screw (2) passing through the wedge and engaging with a fixed strip between the barrels. The rotation of the screw causes the wedge to move between the barrels and vary the gap and angle of convergence.
