PC CARD FOR TRANSMITTING VOICE AND DATA SIGNALS AND TRANSMISSION SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A PC card for transmitting voice and data signals and a transmission system using the same are provided which simultaneously transmits voice and data through telephone lines which have been installed in buildings. CONSTITUTION: A PC card for transmitting voice and data signals includes a first communication port(10) which is connected to a telephone line previously installed in a building and serves as an input/output interface of the voice and data signals, and a second communication port(20) which is connected to a telephone and serves as an input/output interface of voice signals. The PC card also has a signal mixing/separating part(40) which separates the voice signal and data signal from each other to send the voice signal to the telephone through the second communication port and deliver the data signal to a PCI bus of a computer when the voice and data signals are received from the first communication port, and mixes the voice and data signals with each other to transmit the mixed signal to the first communication port when the voice signal and data signal are respectively received from the telephone and the PCI bus.
