Floor selection buttons (9,10) for selecting floors higher and lower than street level and a confirmation button (11) are added to a normal lift control plate (8) with buttons (7) for normally sighted people. The additional buttons which have raised arrows on them signal a cabin control microcomputer by the number of presses made and the user is given an audible confirmation before pressing the confirmation button. |
