The glass displays a drink with light emerging through the liquid. The glass comprises a body (1) whose base includes two electrodes (3) connected to an electric circuit (6) mounted in the base of the glass and in the stem. When liquid in contact with the electrodes, the circuit switches on a light emitting diode, LED, (5) supplied by a battery (9). An aperture (10), in the base of the glass allows for the replacement of the batteries.
