A cam (1) has a quarter of it's under face (A) at a lower level and at 90 degrees to the axis of rotation and the remainder (B) contoured to a higher level and sloping. A base plate (2) is bolted to the chassis of a grinder and the cam is screwed to the grinder drive such that rotation produces hammer blows between cam and base on the panel edges (E,F) to be joined.
