The active medical implant device comprises a generator connector (10) with an axial female housing receiving a probe connector (24). The device also includes at least one connection terminal (12,14) and a system for mechanically immobilising the probe connector within the housing. The connection terminal(s) include blocks with clamp screws exerting the radial pressure of a conductor element (16,18) on the relevant section (20,22) of the probe connector. Immobilisation of the connector within the housing is achieved separately from the electrical contacts. At the opening of the housing, where the probe connector is inserted, a blocking wedge (38) is forced between the outer surface of the probe connector (46) and the inner surface of the female housing. The connector may be removed with a suitable tool to extract the wedge. |
