PURPOSE: An apparatus for closed to traffic is provided to block vehicle transit without interrupting passengers by installing projectable blocking means in the ground which can be projected from the ground when a vehicle approaches. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of blocking bars(7) are installed under the ground with the upper end being flush with the ground in an area where vehicles approaches. Fluid pressure cylinders(6) displace the bars(7) up and down. A fluid pressure generator(1) generates a fluid pressure and supplies the fluid pressure to the fluid pressure cylinders(6) by using hoes(4,5). A solenoid valve(2) adjusts a flow of the fluid pressure, and is controlled by a controller(8). A pressure switch(3) is used for adjusting the fluid pressure. When a vehicle approaches, a detector detects it and sends a signal to the controller(8). Then, the controller(8) sends a control signal to the solenoid valve(2) to displace the blocking bars(7) upward.
